Official: Odense Boldklub Confirm Izunna Uzochukwu Is Leaving The Club

have announced that they have parted company with Super Eagles
midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu, paving the way for him to join a new
employer in the January transfer window.
OB stressed that they ended their association with Uzochukwu because of his desire to seek new opportunities.
''I have had several conversations with Izunna about his desire to try out in another league and in another football culture,'' says OB sports director Jesper Hansen to the club's official website.
''We have discussed the possibilities that existed and we have reached a reasonable agreement about the conditions that we would dissolve his contract. ''
Izunna is credited with one goal in 57 matches for OB, whom he joined from Russia Premier League club Amkar Perm two years ago.
This website understands that the 27-year-old has already signed a deal with an unnamed Chinese club.
