Portland Timbers, DC United Mull Over Move For HJK, FC Atyrau Target Adeniji
Published: January 09, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands Major League Soccer clubs Portland Timbers and DC United are mulling over a move for Nigeria international Tunde Adeniji in the primary transfer window.
The former Sunshine Stars winger cum striker is currently without a club after terminating his contract with Bulgarian side Levski Sofia by mutual consent.
The Major League Soccer clubs have opened a line of communication with an American agent over the signing of Adeniji.
Portland Timbers and DC United should move quickly if they are really interested in signing the Nigerian as he already has offers on the table from European teams.
Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Atyrau are also interested in the services of the 21-year-old and have invited him to Turkey Antalya Hotel (Susesi Luxury Resort) from January 12 to undergo medical tests and sign a contract with the club.
Finnish champions HJK Helsinki plus teams based in Israel and Turkey are in contact with Tunde Adeniji's camp with a view to a swoop.
