Chelsea's Brazilian Winger Agrees Transfer To Portuguese Club
Published: January 09, 2018Chelsea's Brazilian winger Nathan Allan de Souza has agreed a transfer to Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit Belenenses.
According to reporting by Brazilian outlet Esporte, Nathan and his father José Carlos Souza are in Lisbon to sign a contract with Belenenses, and the player has passed up the opportunity to join Atlético-MG .
The 21-year-old will sign a loan deal with Belenenses for the remainder of the 2017-2018 campaign.
Last summer, he joined French club Amiens on a season-long loan but had to terminate the deal before expiration as a result of his lack of first-team opportunities.
From a possible 18 matches, Nathan suited up for Amiens in only three games, logging 161 minutes.
The former Brazil U20 star joined Chelsea in 2015 from Atlético Paranaense.
