Liverpool's Germany Star Rejects Man City To Agree Transfer To Juventus
Liverpool's Germany international Emre Can has agreed a transfer to Juventus, as per reports.

Turin-based sports daily TuttoSport, whom you can regard as the mouthpiece of Juventus, is reporting that the Italian champions saw off competition from European heavyweights before he penned a preliminary contract with the club.

The 24-year-old Can had been on the wishlist of Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

The defensive midfielder will earn 85,000 pounds every week at Juventus when his contract is activated on July 1.

Having spent his formative years at Eintracht Frankfurt and SV Blau-Gelb Frankfurt, he joined Bayern Munich's academy at the age of 15, then transferred to Bayer Leverkusen.

Since his arrival in Liverpool three and a half years ago, Can has featured in 155 matches and has been directly involved in 22 goals.
