Two Premier League Clubs Make Contact With N9.6 Billion Rated Super Eagles Star
Published: January 12, 2018Former Watford marksman Odion Ighalo is being linked with a return to the English Premier League in the January transfer window.
Sky Sports claims two Premier League clubs have made contact with the striker's representatives.
The interested clubs will have to meet Ighalo's 20 million pounds release clause (N9.6 billion) before Changchun Yatai agree to shred the striker's contract which runs out at the end of 2020.
The Super Eagles striker impressed in his debut season in the Super League, and was directly involved in 22 goals (15 goals, 7 assists) in 27 matches for Changchun Yatai.
The 28-year-old Ighalo made 100 appearances in two and half seasons with Watford and helped them gain promotion to the Premier League in his first season with the club.
He has also represented Lyn Oslo, AC Cesena and Udinese.
