Manchester United's Nigerian Defender Watched By Leeds United Against Arsenal
Published: January 16, 2018A representative from EFL Championship outfit Leeds United was among the spectators when Manchester United took on Arsenal in the Premier League 2 on Monday night.
Jeorge Bird has tweeted that assistant manager of Arsenal, Steve Bould, and an unnamed scout from Leeds United were in attendance at the game staged at Meadow Park (Borehamwood, Hertfordshire).
And they feasted their eyes on the top talents that were on parade, including United's American-born Nigerian right back Matthew Olosunde, who went the distance.
Midfielder Tosin Kehinde did not figure for the Red Devils, while England youth-teamer of Nigerian descent Tolaji Bola was on the bench for Arsenal for the entirety of the game.
Olosunde extended his contract with the Old Trafford outfit in the off season, and has trained with the first team on a couple of occasions.
Reine-Adelaide, Dragomir and Nketiah (2) wrote their names on the score-sheet as Arsenal claimed a 4-0 win.
