Torino Star Joel Obi Offered To Premier League, Spanish Clubs
Published: January 21, 2018Italian Serie A club Torino have placed Nigeria international Joel Obi on the transfer list to enable them generate money to conclude their transfer business.
Transfer market website Tuttomercatoweb.com citing Tuttosport is reporting that the sporting director of Torino, Gianluca Petrachi, has put on the market Joel Obi, and the Nigerian has been offered to unnamed Italian, English and Spanish clubs.
Torino have made a bid of six million euros for the services of Godfred Donsah but that amount is below Bologna's asking price for the Ghanaian midfielder.
For that deal to happen, the Turin-based club have to sell Afriyie Acquah and Joel Obi to meet the requirements of the Rossoblu.
The Super Eagle netted his fourth goal of the season in all competitions in Torino's 1-1 draw at Sassuolo on Sunday.
Obi, who can play in central midfield, attacking midfield, left or right winger, is contracted to Torino until June 30, 2019.
