(See Photo) Ex-Manchester United, Arsenal Striker Completes Transfer To Feyenoord
Published: January 22, 2018Through a statement on their official website, Dutch Eredivisie powerhouse Feyenoord have announced that they have reached an agreement for the transfer of Robin van Persie following a successful medical.
Rotterdam-born Robin van Persie is returning fourteen years after he left the club for the English Premier League.
Today the striker has appended his signature to a contract that will tie him to Feyenoord for a year and a half.
Van Persie joins Feyenoord on a free transfer from Turkish outfit Fenerbahçe.
The Netherlands international was a big success in the Premier League with Arsenal, for whom he scored 131 goals (55 matches) in 276 matches, before transferring to Manchester United, then Fenerbahçe in Turkey.
Robin van Persie will have his first training session with his new teammates later on Monday under the guidance of manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
