Has Roma Striker Turned His Back On Chelsea? Latest Reports Not Encouraging
Published: January 23, 2018Chelsea target, Edin Dzeko might be staying at As Roma after so much speculations linking him with Stamford Bridge after it was revealed that the striker is in the Giallorossi squad to face Sampdoria on Wednesday.
Football Italia made a shocking revelation via twitter, depicting the 31-year old to have been included by Eusebio Di Francesco in the team for their Match day 20 after it was looking he will finalise the deal before Chelsea face Arsenal in the League Cup.
According to reports emerging from Italy, Dzeko had earlier been reported to have agreed personal terms with Chelsea, with teammate, Emerson Palmieri equally believed to have swapped Stadio Olimpico for Stamford Bridge in a deal valued around €50 million.
But that move is anybody's guess now as the player would be making his 21st appearance in the Serie A tomorrow alongside Palmieri.
The Bosnia captain who played for Manchester City from 2011-2016, scoring 72 goals has found the back of the net nine times in the Italian topflight this campaign.
