Done Deal : Liverpool Loan Out Promising Goalkeeper To The Blues
Through a statement on their official website, Premier League club Liverpool have confirmed that promising goalkeeper Andy Firth has joined Chester FC on loan until the end of the season.

The transfer was completed in time, paving the way for the 21-year-old to make his debut against Maidenhead United in the Vanarama National League this afternoon.

A native of Ripon in North Yorkshire, Firth has been with Liverpool since he was an U11 player and rose through the ranks before his maiden appearance for the U23 team.

Shortly after the deal was confirmed, the shot-stopper tweeted : ''Delighted to sign for @ChesterFC for the rest of the season on loan πŸ™πŸΌ Lots of good memories playing at their ground, and can’t wait to get started with the lads today at Maidstone! πŸ“βš½οΈπŸ’™ #CFC #LFC.''

Andy Firth has cited Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas as his role model.

Nigerian striker James Akintunde is on the books of The Blues.
