Madrid CFF Wonderkid Maria Okoye On Target As Spain U17 Thrash Israel 7-0
Published: March 08, 2018Madrid CFF wonderkid Maria Okoye was on target as Spain demolished Israel 7-0 in a UEFA WU17 Euro Elite Round match staged at the National Team Complex - Shefayim on Thursday, March 8.
The striker scored with a sumptuous volley to make it 5-0 in the 50th minute after an inviting cross from the skillful number eighteen Eva Maria Navarro.
Born July 31, 2001, Maria Isabel Okoye Robles is still eligible to represent the Super Falcons as her father is Nigerian and she has not played competitively for Spain's senior team.
This season, the 16-year-old has made four appearances for the first team of Madrid CFF in the Primera DivisiĆ³n Femenina and was included in the match day squad seven times.
