Super Eagles Fans Are Saying The Same Thing About Awaziem After Horror Show Vs Serbia
Published: March 27, 2018Super Eagles fans have taken to Twitter to destroy one of the players following the disappointing 2-0 loss to Serbia at the Hive Stadium on Tuesday night.
They were extremely unhappy with the performance of Nantes defender Chidozie Awaziem, who was a last-minute replacement for Leon Balogun after the Mainz star failed a fitness test just before the start of the game.
Nigeria have conceded six goals in the last three matches Awaziem has started, against South Africa, Argentina and Serbia, and the Porto loanee can be blamed for more than half of the goals.
Here are some of the best tweets from Super Eagles fans :
@TheOddSolace : ''Awaziem had a shocker. Idowu actually did well tonight, I feel''.
@yankiedudu : ''it has shown we do not have π up for @LeonBalogun and @WTroostEkong partnership and that Awaziem is notvmature to be in that @NGSuperEagles team and surely the back line missed @OfficialShehu today Bekos the two goals came from his side''.
@tayOgunseye : ''Awaziem & Agu have never been and will never be a @NGSuperEagles material!''.
@EnkayIgwe : ''Awaziem and co think they are doing us, they are doing themselves πππ #NGASRB''.
@temitayoojotayo : ''Awaziem isn't super eagles material at all.''
@oge_jenny : ''That Troost-Ekong & Awaziem partnership in CB no work at all''.
@jollofricejim : ''..we need Mikel - awaziem isn't starting centre back quality''.
@kayblow76 : ''Chidozie Awaziem. Is he a good player & what club does he play for? Didnβt recognize some of the Eagles players on show today. I think heβs one of the unknown faces.''.
Chiscodedon12 : ''Awaziem has been given chances twice but he failed to prove himself''.
Derek74399105 : ''Awaziem is a baby defender ...simple as ABC''.
@Steinzen : ''Awaziem was destroyed by Mitrovic''.
