Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barca, Inter Stars Make Croatia Provisional World Cup Roster
Published: May 14, 2018Croatia national team coach Zlatko Dalić has announced a 32-man provisional roster for this summer's football festival in Russia ahead of the Fifa deadline for the submission of squad lists.
As you would expect, Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren, Real Madrid's Luka Modrić, Barcelona's Ivan Rakitić , strikers Mario Mandžukić and Ivan Perišić of Juventus and Inter Milan respectively have been selected in the group.
Croatia have been drawn in a tricky Group D which contains two-time world champions Argentina, three-time African champions Nigeria and Euro 2016 Cinderella team Iceland.
Croatia will start their World Cup campaign against Victor Moses and co. when they take on the Super Eagles at Kaliningrad Stadium, Kaliningrad on June 16, followed by games against Argentina (June 21) and Iceland (June 26).
Their next pre-World Cup friendly is against Brazil at Anfield on June 3, before facing Senegal at Gradski Vrt in Osijek five days later.
