German Bundesliga outfit Mainz began their preseason schedule with a 12-0 demolition of DJK-SV Phoenix Schifferstadt, with two Nigerian strikers on target for the Opel Arena outfit.
Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah, who played only the first half, made it 4-0 five minutes before the intermission, and second half substitute Karim Onisiwo scored in the 78th minute to give Mainz a 10-0 lead.
