Rohr Warns France Ahead Of World Cup Final: Croatia Have No Weak Points
Published: July 15, 2018Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has warned the French National Team players to be wary of the Croatians when both teams face off in the 2018 World Cup final on Sunday afternoon, starting from 1600 hours.
The German tactician is aware of the qualities of the Croatian team captained by Real Madrid's Luka Modrić as he was in the dugout when the World Cup finalists beat Nigeria 2-0 in their opener.
To reach their first ever World Cup final, Croatia beat Denmark, Russia and England in the knockout rounds after more than 120 minutes of football in each match, and Rohr believes they will be difficult opponents if they are not exhausted.
''There is not a weak point in this team, they are all very, very good, they all play in big clubs," Rohr said on the set of Bons baisers du Mondial on Europe 1.
"If they have recovered, it's not going to be simple for the French.''
An own goal from Oghenekaro Etebo and a Luka Modric penalty in the second half gave Croatia a 2-0 win over Nigeria on June 16.
