Top 20 Biggest Talents In Belgium: Wolfsburg Loanee Osimhen Makes List
Published: November 15, 2018Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has been included in Sport/Voetbal Magazine's list of top twenty talents plying their trade in the Belgian First Division A.
Club Brugge and Zulte Waregem would be regretting that they passed up the opportunity to sign the Wolfsburg loanee in the summer transfer window as he has been a hit for modest Sporting Charleroi.
In eleven outings across all competitions for The Zebras, Osimhen has found the back of the net six times while providing one assist in his last match before reporting for international duty.
Of the twenty players rated born after January 1, 1996, the Sporting Charleroi striker ranked twelfth.
Explaining why Osimhen made the list, the editors wrote : ''From his first training sessions showed the strong Nigerian qualities that stunned the coaching staff of the Zebras .
''Borrowed by Wolfsburg and in Belgium already has the compliments of the defenders who he has come up against.''
Osimhen's fine form for Sporting Charleroi convinced Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr to recall him for Saturday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.
