Agent Claims Minnesota United, Colorado Rapids Mulling Over Move For Eagles Midfielder Igiebor
Published: January 04, 2019Nosa Igiebor's intermediary, Rotimi Fernandez Dawodu, who is the Executive Director of Double Diamond Sports, has suggested that the Nigeria international could be returning to Major League Soccer in the winter transfer market.
Minnesota United and Colorado Rapids are among the teams mulling over a move for the attacking midfielder.
Igiebor has entered the final six months of his contract with Anorthosis Famagusta and can begin talking to clubs interested in his services this month.
''Apoel Nicosia are showing interest , FC Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova , a second division team in China and Neftchi Baku in Azerbaijan are also interested,'' Dawodu told allnigeriasoccer.com from his base in the United States.
''In Major League Soccer, Minnesota United and Colorado Rapids are revising seriously also. He just came back from injury and is nearing a return to fitness.''
A product of Warri Wolves, Igiebor previously wore the jerseys of Lillestrom, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Real Betis, Maccabi Tel Aviv, çaykur Rizespor and Vancouver Whitecaps before moving to Cyprus in 2018.
