German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig have pulled off a transfer coup by signing promising Nigerian striker Noah Ohio.
The 16-year-old had attracted interest from Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Olympique Lyon and Ajax Amsterdam, but RB Leipzig have won the race for his signature.
Born in the Netherlands, Ohio previously wore the jerseys of FC Almere, Manchester United and Manchester City.
RB Leipzig confirmed the signing of Ohio last weekend and the teenager took to social media on Thursday to publicly announce his transfer to the club.
Ohio tweeted : ''It’s Officiall!! Delighted to have signed for RB Leipzig. All glory be to God. @DieRotenBullen''.
He has already made his competitive debut for the U17 team of RB Leipzig, playing the last 24 minutes of their 1-0 loss to Werder Bremen in the U17-Bundesliga Nord/Nordost on Saturday.
Ohio has played non-competitive matches for Netherlands and England's youth teams.
