Eight Different Agreements Signed : Golden Eaglets Captain In The Same Boat As Iheanacho
Published: October 28, 2019Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that European clubs interested in signing Golden Eaglets captain Samson Tijani after the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup might face a stumbling block with several agents and clubs claiming to be the bona fide representative of the central midfielder.
Tijani has found himself in the same boat as former Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho whose father signed mandates with multiple agents to negotiate the transfer of the player to a European club before the 2013 U17 World Cup.
The Technical Committee Chairman Lagos State Football Association Dotun Coker, Liameed Olawale Gafar,
Siji Lagunju of the NFF Technical Department, French-Cameroonian agent Oliver Noah, Collins Edwin SC, Paul Ojo, Jossy United Football Club, Owerri, and an unnamed agent based in Ibadan have parental consent to represent the same player, Tijani.

Nigeria Football Federation Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi has also been mentioned as a future beneficiary should Tijani sign for a foreign club as he went out of his way to order for the release of the passports of the Golden Eaglets captain and striker Olakunle Olusegun before they traveled to Russia to undergo trials after the U17 AFCON.
The Russian club have an academy and they are affiliated with clubs in Denmark (BK Fremad Amager) and Armenia and it's the same club that NPFL hotshot Ibrahim Sunusi traveled to earlier this year.
Tijani is already putting himself in the shop window after scoring two goals in the Nigeria U17s World Cup opener against Hungary and winning the Man of the Match award.
