Ahmed Musa Tells Rohr : I Am Ready Any Minute You Want Me
Published: November 13, 2019Former Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa has sent a message to Gernot Rohr that he is prepared to come off the bench in today's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Benin.
Having only returned from an injury that kept him on the sidelines for more than two months, the Super Eagles captain has been omitted from the starting line-up against the Squirrels.
Musa was not in the Super Eagles squads that recorded impressive back-to-back draws against Ukraine and Brazil in two post-Africa Cup of Nations friendlies in September and October respectively.
''For me I feel very happy, over two and half months now I have not played for the team but thank God finally I am back. Any minute the coach wants me to play I am ready,'' said Musa to the Super Eagles Media Team.
''As you can see we don't have much time with the team, but I know it is a very difficult game, we know the task ahead of us so we have to do our best to win the first game.''

With 87 international appearances under his belt, Musa is 13 games away from playing his 100th match for the Super Eagles.
