'This Kid Will Do Exploits In Europe' - Fans React As Osimhen Defies Health Scare To Score First Away Goal In Ligue 1
Published: December 21, 2019Victor Osimhen continued his red-hot scoring streak in front of goal for Lille with another goal against Monaco on Saturday night.
Four days ago, he was on the score sheet as they bested the principality club in a League Cup meeting.
And with 13 minutes gone in their league game today, the Super Eagles striker pounced on a through ball from teammate Jonathan Ikone to lift an exquisite finish over onrushing goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte.
His strike at the Stade Louis II was his first away from home this season, and his 13th in all competitions so far.
Though Lille failed to build on the goal and eventually fell to a 5-1 defeat to their opposition, fans have lauded the goal from the Nigerian with their reactions on Twitter.
