Done Deal: Omoh Ends Nine-Year Association With Swedish Clubs After Completing FC Poli Iasi Transfer
Published: January 19, 2020Michael Omoh has ended his nine-year association with Swedish clubs after completing a transfer to Romanian I Liga side FC Poli Iasi.
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that the 28-year-old has inked a contract until the end of the 2019-2020 season with an option of another year.
FC Poli Iasi are his fourth club in Europe after spells with Dalkurd, Ostersund and Orebro SK.
Omoh is a product of Mowoe Babes Warri, which produced Super Eagles and Getafe midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo.
The deal taking the midfielder to FC Poli Iasi was brokered by Italian-based Nigerian agent Ben Itorho,who handles the affairs of Nigeria U23 star David Okereke.
A versatile player, Omoh is primarily a left midfielder and can be deployed at either right midfield or left wing.
FC Poli Iasi sit 11th in the 14-team I Liga table and face Viitorul in their first league game of 2020 on February 3, a game in which Omoh is in contention to make his competitive debut.
