Akpom Hits First Brace Of Season For PAOK; Bursaspor's Shehu Nets Crucial Goal
Allnigeriasoccer.com's round up of the Nigerian players on target for their respective clubs in league matches across Europe on Sunday, December 9.

Super Eagles right-back Abdullahi Shehu is playing a key role for Bursaspor's push for an immediate return to the Turkish top-flight, making his 20th consecutive start in a 4-2 win against Osmanlıspor at the Osmanlı Stadı (Ankara).

With the scoreboard reading 3-2, Shehu extinguished any hopes of a comeback when he wrapped up the scoring in the third minute of second half stoppage time.

It was his first goal for Bursaspor since September 15 when he scored against today's opponents in a 3-1 win.

Let's go to Greece. Former Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom hit his first Greek Super League brace of the season as PAOK Thessaloniki demolished OFI Crete 4-0 at the Toumba Stadium.

The Super Eagles hopeful broke the deadlock five minutes into the second half, before extending the lead from the spot on the hour mark.

Akpom has found the net eight times in all competitions this campaign, matching his tally for last season.
