Published: May 27, 2020Highly-rated Real Madrid midfielder Marvin Olawale Akinlabi Park is on the cusp of earning his breakthrough at Santiago Bernabéu if his recent activities at the club are anything to go by, allnigeriaoccer.com reports.
In a post on his official Instagram handle, the 19-year-old was pictured vying for the ball in training alongside first-team star Vinícius Júnior, thus sparking interest that the Nigeria-eligible midfielder could be set for a senior role anytime soon.
Park has been a mainstay in the Los Blancos reserve team, Real Madrid Castilla this season, making 26 appearances in the Segunda Division B while weighing in with three goals.
First team coach Zinedine Zidane is known to monitor the outstanding players at Real Madrid Castilla, going ahead to hand deserving ones their senior debuts and Akinlabi will be hoping to benefit from that.
Eligible to represent Spain who he has already turned out for at youth level as well as South Korea aside the West African nation, the NFF are believed to have already set the wheels in motion in view of recruiting him for the national teams.
