Arsenal-Linked Striker Dennis Labels Manchester United The Best Team In England
Published: June 02, 2020Club Brugge striker Emmanuel Dennis has labelled Manchester United the best team in England based on their records.
And the Nigeria international is undoubtedly not far from the truth considering the fact that the Old Trafford side have won a record 20 top-flight titles and lifted the FA Cup on twelve occasions.
Dennis has been heavily linked with Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United on the back of his brilliant display in this season's European competitions.
One of the standout moments of his career was getting on the scoresheet as Club Brugge were held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester United in a Europa League round of 32 clash back in February.
Recollecting his goal against the Red Devils, Dennis said on Instagram Live : "I don't want to disrespect the team. With their records, Manchester United is the best team in England, it was good to score against them and I was happy I scored because Osimhen was in the stadium and I told him I will score for him.
"The feeling after is good because it is a big team. In Nigeria, I remember when I used to watch them, my brother was a staunch Manchester United fan.
"I remember few years back I was paying money watching them on television and right now I played and scored against them.
"Then l just realized in this life every dream is possible, just work, believe and pray."

The 22-year-old Dennis has won the Belgian title twice since joining Club Brugge from Ukrainian club Zorya Luhansk in 2017.
