Published: August 12, 2020Belgian First Division A side Beerschot are in advanced talks to sign Nigerian striker Blessing Eleke, according to reports emanating from the Belgian press.
Gazet van Antwerpen says Eleke is about to sign for Beerschot and this has been echoed by his agent Stephen Makinwa.
"Negotiations are still ongoing, but we hope to finalize the deal on Wednesday," confirmed Makinwa.
The 24-year-old Eleke joined FC Luzern in the summer of 2018 and is still contracted to the club for the next two seasons.
Before moving to Switzerland, he played for Gorica, Olimpija Ljubljana and Ashdod.

Anderlecht attempted to sign Eleke in January 2019 but their 5 million euros offer was refused by FC Luzern.
