New Goalkeeping Rival For Adegoke, Chibueze As Chelsea Bring In Burton Albion Starlet
Through a statement on their official website, English Premier League club Chelsea have confirmed the signing of talented England youth international Teddy Sharman-Lowe from Burton Albion.

Aged 17, Sharman-Lowe has put pen to paper on a three-year deal, the maximum length of contract for U17 players and will spend the entirety of the 2020-2021 season on loan at Burton Albion.

Sharman-Lowe will provide competition for two fellow 2003-born goalkeepers in Prince Adegoke and Kelechi Chibueze upon his return to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2021.

The two Anglo-Nigerian teenagers are promising goalkeepers in their own right, with Chibueze earning non-binding caps for England U15 and U16 national teams and Adegoke called up to attend a Nigeria U17 training camp a year ago.

Chibueze featured in Chelsea U18s 5-2 hammering of Bournemouth last month and Adegoke took to the field in the recent friendly against Southampton.

Both players, who are first year scholars, have made the bench for U18 Premier League fixtures but have not yet made their debuts in the division.
