In a 4-3-3 formation, the ex-Super Eagles captain starts in goal, with Ahmed Fathy (Pyramids/Egypt), Medhi Benatia (Al-Duhail SC/ Morocco), Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli/Senegal) and Eric Bailly (Manchester United/Ivory Coast) the defenders.
The midfield is made up of Ivory Coast and Manchester City legend Yaya Toure, Swansea City's Ghana star Andre Ayew and Manchester City's Algeria dazzler Riyad Mahrez.
Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gaban), Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah (Egypt) and Sadio Mane (Senegal), who shared the Premier League Golden Boot award for the 2018-19 season, have been selected in attack.
For the women's version of the CAF Team of the Decade, four current Super Falcons made the cut - Osinachi Ohale, Onome Ebi, Ngozi Okobi and Asisat Oshoala.
