Former Manchester United Striker Ighalo Opens Account For New Club Al-Shabab
Former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has not wasted time to open his goalscoring account for his new club Al-Shabab.

The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations top scorer made his competitive debut for the Saudi Arabian Pro League table-toppers a week ago, playing the last seven minutes of a 4-1 win over Al-Raed.

Ighalo once again appeared as a substitute in this evening's Riyadh derby against Al-Nassr, replacing Fabio Martins in the 63rd minute and wrapped up the scoring in the second minute of stoppage time.

The 31-year-old slotted the ball past goalkeeper Bradley Jones to make it 4-0 after Ever Banega intercepted a pass from an Al-Nassr defender and laid the ball on a plate for him.

The 31-year-old lasted 34 minutes on the pitch across the two matches before his first goal in Al-Shabab colours.

Al-Shabab have opened a four-point gap at the top of the Saudi Pro League standings after beating Al-Nassr.

Ighalo ended a one-year association with Manchester United in the winter transfer market, inking a two-and-a-half-year deal with Al-Shabab.
