'Scored Amazing Goals' - CSKA Moscow Newbie Claims Ejuke Was The Best Player In Norway
Published: February 16, 2021Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow confirmed the capture of Emil Bohinen from Stabaek this week, with the midfielder inking a four-year contract with the Army Men.
The Norway U21 international has claimed that Chidera Ejuke, his new teammate at CSKA Moscow, was the best player in the Norwegian championship before he moved on to pastures new.
Ejuke spent around two years at Eliteserien club Valerenga, scoring 15 goals in 69 appearances and picking up six assists to go with it.
His form for Valerenga earned him a move to SC Heerenveen, where he spent one season, before switching to CSKA Moscow last summer.
Former Stabaek starlet Bohinen knows all about the qualities of Ejuke having faced him in October 2018 in the Norwegian top-flight while he was on the bench in three other games between the two clubs.
On the players he knew before joining CSKA's training camp, Bohinen told the official website of the Muscovites : "Ejuke? Yes, of course, because he played in our championship.
"In those years Chidi was the best in Norway, I'm not kidding! A delightful player, he scored amazing goals".
Ejuke and CSKA Moscow play their first competitive game of 2021 against SKA Khabarovsk on February 21.
