Olayinka bags assist but goes off injured as Slavia Prague and Aribo's Rangers play out draw
Slavia Prague and newly-crowned Scottish Premiership champions Glasgow Rangers played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie at Sinobo Stadium on Thursday evening.

As for team news, there were starts for Peter Olayinka and Joe Aribo while center back Leon Balogun was suspended for this one after picking up his third caution in the win against Royal Antwerp on February 25.

In the 7th minute, Nico Stanciu curled the ball beautifully to the far post to open the scoring for the Czech side after receiving a pass from Olayinka.

Nine minutes before halftime, Filip Helander tapped the ball into an open net from close range to equalise for Rangers after a free-kick.

Czech international winger Masopust, who is more defensive minded, replaced Olayinka at the interval, after the Nigerian suffered an injury.

Just past the hour mark, Aribo sent an effort wide after good play from Patterson.

The Nigeria international was excellent for the visitors in the second half, causing all sorts of problems for the hosts when he ventured forward.

Slavia Prague had a great chance to win the game in the 90th minute but goalkeeper Allan McGregor made an unbelievable save to deny Masopust from scoring with a header.
