'Tella does a good job' - Southampton boss impressed by Super Eagles-eligible winger pre-Leicester
Published: April 30, 2021Manager Ralph Hasenhüttl spoke to the media ahead of Southampton's return to St Mary's Stadium, where they will meet Leicester City in the Premier League on Friday 30th April 2021.
One of the questions the Austrian was asked had to do with the youngsters he wants to see in the final six games of the season, apart from Nathan Tella.
Hasenhüttl has been left impressed by Super Eagles-eligible winger Tella, who is unarguably the standout player from the crop of Southampton youngsters.
In the current season, the former Arsenal schoolboy has made Southampton's matchday squads twenty-six times and has been given game time on seventeen occasions.
"He (Tella) does so far a good job. He is always very energetic, he sprints a lot, he's working hard for the team," Hasenhüttl said at the press conference monitored by allnigeriasoccer.com.
"I must say that also the other young players made a good step forward but from a level that is still not always able to compete in the Premier League. "

The 21-year-old Tella joined Southampton in 2017 after spending ten years at Arsenal.
