Published: May 05, 2021Lorient striker Terem Moffi has been named in the U21 Team of the Month, Europe's top five leagues by football statistics website Whoscored.com.
In order to qualify for the all-star XI, outfielders aged 21 and under and goalkeepers aged 23 and under must have made at least two league appearances during the month of April.
Last month, Moffi showcased his best talents since his move to France, notching six goals in four appearances, including a hat-trick against Bordeaux.
He netted a consolation in a 4-1 loss to Lens on matchday 32, before scoring his second brace of the season the following matchday against Marseille.
In addition to his six goals, he began the month by providing the game-winning assist against Stade Brest 29, meaning he either scored or assisted in all the matches he played in April.
In a 4-4-2 formation, Moffi is partnered in attack by Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland and there is a spot in midfield for Bayern Munich's Germany international of Nigerian descent, Jamal Musiala.
Of the eleven players included on the U21 Team of the Month, Moffi was the best rated player at 8.04.
