'They have top quality players' - Ndidi looking forward to facing Manchester United
Published: May 10, 2021Leicester City holding midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is looking forward to Tuesday's Premier League meeting against Manchester United at Old Trafford but has admitted that the game will be difficult.
The Premier League title has been reserved for Manchester City, there is a competitive fight for the remaining Champions League spots and the Foxes are in the mix but have three difficult games coming up against Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur before the season finishes.
Leicester City's next opponents United are favorites to win this season's Europa League and have top players such as Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani in their ranks - something which has been noted by Ndidi.
"It's a tough game. Obviously, the last time we met, we knocked them out of the FA Cup, but it's going to be a difficult game," Ndidi said to LCFC TV.
"We'll look forward to it and see what comes out of it. They're a really good team, a really strong side. The players they have are top quality.
"They've really done well in the league and the Europa League. They will also want to finish as high as possible, which is how every team wants to finish the season.
"It's something that means we have to go there, see what comes out of it, and we'll give everything."
Leicester City are undefeated in their last two games against the Red Devils, drawing 2-2 with the Old Trafford side back in December and beating them 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the Emirates FA Cup in March.
