Abuja stands still as Chelsea win UEFA Champions League
Hundreds of fans watched on in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria as Chelsea beat Manchester City to win the 2021 UEFA Champions League final on Saturday night.

A first half goal scored by Kai Havertz,  was stoutly defended by Thomas Tuchel's team till the end of the game.

As usual Heineken, never watching alone, provided an electrifying atmosphere for fans to enjoy the game at the popular Hustle  &  Bustle, Abuja.

As part of its activities, Heineken engineered trivia and special giveaways, video game competitions, in a bid to drive exciting engagement activities among fans and consumers and reward their passion for football.

A Chelsea fan, Adewale Adeyemi couldn't hide his excitement; "It is a well-deserved victory for the Londoners and it confirms that Thomas Tuchel is better than Pep Guardiola."

For Uche Madu, it is a night she will never forget.

"Thank God we sacked Lampard, the sky is blue, we are champions again."

Over the past two decades, Heineken's UCL campaigns have all been focused on creating exciting experiences for fans and consumers and the 2020/2021 UCL You’re Never Watching Alone' continues Heineken’s love story with Nigerian football fans and beer lovers.
