Crystal Palace and Leicester City told how much it will cost to sign Nigeria-eligible young star
Published: July 25, 2021English Premier League duo Crystal Palace and Leicester City have been told how much it will cost to sign Nigeria-eligible winger Nonso Madueke.
According to The Sun, Madueke has been given a £20million ((N13.9 billion) price tag as PSV Eindhoven fight off interest from English clubs.
An England youth international, Madueke would be of interest to clubs in the Premier League because he's homegrown and an U21 player, coupled with his brilliant performances for PSV.
The 19-year-old helped PSV register an impressive 5-1 home win against Galatasaray in a Champions League qualifier last week, setting up the second goal scored by Eran Zahavi in the first half.
Despite his limited playing opportunities in 2020-2021, Madueke had a productive season in terms of goal contribution, scoring nine and assisting eight others in 32 games across all competitions - twelve of which he started.
The Anglo-Nigerian was a schoolboy at Crystal Palace for two years before joining Tottenham
Hotspur, from where he moved to PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2018
after turning down a scholarship.
