Man Utd legend commends Watford striker Dennis for first half display in loss to Tottenham
Published: August 29, 2021
Manchester United legend Paul Ince was left impressed by the display of Emmanuel Dennis in the first half of Watford's Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Hornets are still looking for their first points away from home after losing 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Just before half-time, South Korea star Son Heung-Min scored what proved to be the winning goal as his right-footed free-kick sailed inside the far post.
Ince underlined that Ismaila Sarr and Dennis caused Tottenham problems in the first half with their direct runs but could not find that finishing touch.
In his half-time analysis on Premier League Productions, Ince stated : "I think Xisco will be happy with the way it's gone.
"The disappointment is conceding a goal in the last minute before half-time.
"They have to stay patient, pick the times when they go forward. We've seen Saar can be a problem, Dennis can be a problem, and they will get one or two chances, they just have to be ruthless when they get it".

Dennis, who has been left out of the latest Super Eagles squad, scored and assisted on his Premier League debut against Aston Villa.
