Osimhen, Iheanacho, Omeruo acknowledge Super Eagles fans after win against Liberia
Published: September 03, 2021Some fans of the Super Eagles stars that featured in Friday's 2022 World Cup qualifier against Liberia were elated to get their heroes acknowledging them before driving off to their Eko Hotels & Suites base.
As the players and team officials sauntered into their waiting bus, a pocket of fans made their way to the team bus and sang the praises of the players.
One fan in particular who waved the Nigerian flag subtly reminded Napoli striker Victor Osimhen that he did not score against Liberia.
The former youth international simply said "na so" smiling before making his way into the bus.
A physically challenged supporter of the team was seen discussing heartily with two-goal star, Kelechi Iheanacho albeit their voices were not audible amid the singing by some members of the Nigeria Supporters club.
Kenneth Omeruo greeted his fans as well although some of the players quietly got inside their bus without saying a word.
