Red-hot Osimhen sets new personal record after 94th minute goal in Napoli's loss to Spartak
Nigeria star Victor Osimhen set a new personal record after finding the net in the closing minutes of Napoli's 3-2 loss to Spartak Moscow in a Europa League fixture at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Thursday evening.

By getting on the scoresheet in the 94th minute, it meant the Super Eagles striker netted for the fifth consecutive match - his longest goalscoring streak since he turned professional.

Osimhen's personal run started against Leicester City before strikes against Udinese, Sampdoria, Cagliari and Spartak Moscow.

Against the Russian Premier League side, the 22-year-old had an easy finish into the net after Di Lorenzo's cross squeezed its way into his path

In what appears to be a substitution planned in advance, manager Luciano Spalletti brought on Osimhen to replace Peragna at half-time.

Napoli had a blistering start to the game as Elmas put them ahead after eleven seconds but Spartak Moscow claimed all three points after a wonderful second half performance.

Promes equalised ten minutes into the second half, Ignatov got their second goal in the 80th minute, before the Netherlands international grabbed his brace in the 90th minute.

Osimhen has now scored seven goals in just fourteen days in 374 minutes of action, which is a goal every 74.8 minutes.

Spartak Moscow's former Nigeria international Victor Moses lasted the distance against Napoli.
