Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of the UEFA Champions League matches involving Nigeria-eligible players on Wednesday, October 20.

At Stamford Bridge, Super Eagles midfielder Innocent Bonke went the full ninety as Malmo were thrashed by defending champions Chelsea.

In a game that saw Romelu Lukaku go off with injury midway through the first half, the Blues cruised to a win with Andreas Christensen volleying home the opener and Jorginho netting from the spot in the 9th and 21st minute respectively.

Kai Havertz dinked an effort past substitute Malmo goalkeeper Ismael Diawara two minutes into the second half before Jorginho converted another penalty, making it 4-0.

In a thriller at Old Trafford, Shola Shoretire was not in the Manchester United side that found themselves two goals down inside 30 minutes but recovered from going behind to defeat Atalanta 3-2.

After Pašalić and Demiral had scored to open up a 2-0 lead, Marcus Rashford fired into the far corner to reduce the deficit on 53 minutes, Harry Maguire equalised with fifteen minutes left, before Cristiano Ronaldo headed home Luke Shaw's brilliant delivery for the match-winning goal in the 81st minute.

In the other Group F fixture, Villarreal recorded their first win, beating Young Boys 4-1 at Stadion Wankdorf - Berne .

Goals from Pino, Gerard Moreno and Moreno put the Yellow Submarine in a commanding lead before Samuel Chukwueze came on for his Champions League debut, replacing Nigerian-born cap-tied Netherlands international Arnaut Danjuma in the 90th minute.

Two minutes after his introduction, Chukwueze scored with his first touch to end any doubt about Villarreal securing three points against the Swiss champions.

In an early kickoff at Stadion Salzburg in Austria, Salzburg cemented top spot in Group G with a 3-1 victory against Wolsburg, with all the goals netted by players with Nigerian blood in their veins.

Wolfsburg's Nigeria-eligible striker Lukas Nmecha cancelled out an opener from cap-tied German international Karim Adeyemi in the first half, before two decisive goals from Switzerland international Noah Okafor in the second half.

Salzburg's Kano-born striker Chukwubuike Adamu replaced Adeyemi with three minutes left while American-Swiss-Nigerian center-back Bryan Okoh watched proceedings from the bench.
