Shoretire trains with Manchester United first team after defeat to Liverpool
Published: October 27, 2021Anglo-Nigerian youngster Shola Shoretire reportedly trained with Manchester United first team on Tuesday, October 26.
The Red Devils have started preparations for their next Premier League match away at Tottenham Hotspur this coming Saturday.
Manchester Evening News published a picture of the England U19 international arriving for first team training at Carrington on Tuesday to train under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Shoretire hasn't had any minutes with the first team so far this season but continues to be one of the key players for the development squad, netting three goals and providing three assists in ten matches.
Of the fourteen matches contested by United's first team in all competitions, he hasn't been picked by Solskjaer in the matchday squad.
The future of the Norwegian football tactician has been thrown into doubt following the humiliating 5-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.
Solskjaer handed Shoretire his Europa League debut against Real Sociedad on February 25, 2021, making him the youngest ever player to play for United in European competition aged 17 years and 23 days.
