Chelsea striker Fiabema reveals Ronaldo is his idol, loves Mbappe, Lukaku, Josh King
Published: November 05, 2021Norwegian-born Nigerian striker Bryan Fiabema has labelled Manchester United's Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as his idol.
The former Tromso wonderkid has been in blistering form for Chelsea youth teams, scoring five goals in his last seven starts and was also in great goalscoring form for his country of birth, tallying four goals in three U19 Euro qualifiers last month.
Though the promising center forward had difficulties in front of goal in his first full season at Chelsea, he registered five goals in the Premier League 2 and one each in the U18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup.
Apart from Ronaldo, Fiabema also views Kylian Mbappe, Romelu Lukaku and Josh King as his sources of inspiration.
Speaking to Chelsea's official website before the Premier league 2 meeting with Crystal Palace, the Norwegian-Nigerian was asked to reveal his inspiration and his goals target for 2021-2022.
Fiabema answered : 'I love Cristiano Ronaldo. He has always been my idol. I also love Kylian Mbappe, Romelu Lukaku and of course Josh King, because we are from the same country."
The 18-year-old Fiabema has a contract with Chelsea until the end of the 2022-2023 season.
