Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of Nigeria-eligible players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, November 6, 2021.

In the early kickoff, reigning champions City won the 186th Manchester derby, beating United 2-0 at Old Trafford.

Shola Shoretire still has to wait for his first Premier League appearance of the season as he wasn't selected in the matchday squad by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester City's early pressure eventually paid off as Eric Bailly diverted the ball past his own goalkeeper De Gea in the seventh minute and Bernardo Silva tapped in at the back post to double the advantage just before halftime.

At Selhurst Park in London, Crystal Palace defeated an equally in-form Wolverhampton Wanderers side 2-0 thanks to Wilfried Zaha's goal just after the hour mark and Conor Gallagher's 78th minute effort.

Michael Olise made his fifth consecutive appearance in the division for the Eagles when he came off the bench in the 80th minute, but fellow Nigerian Federation target Eberechi Eze is lacking match fitness after recovering from a long-term injury and wasn't picked by manager Patrick Vieira.

The former England U21 international was in action against Chelsea U23s this afternoon and is certainly not far off from a return to first team action.

Remaining in the English capital, Brentford were beaten 2-1 by Norwich City and Frank Onyeka did not taste action for the Bees.

The Super Eagles midfielder was involved in the last seven games contested by Thomas Frank's team before today.

Norwich City established a two-goal lead by the half hour mark thanks to strikes from Mathias Normann and Teemu Pukki.

Brentford got themselves back into the game, scoring through Rico Henry in the 60th minute to reduce the deficit, but the visitors were able to hold on to a victory.
