Anglo-Nigerian striker finally makes his league debut for Arsenal U18s against West Brom
A year after his arrival at Arsenal from Manchester City, talented striker Henry Timi Davies finally made his U18 Premier League debut as the Gunners suffered a 2-1 loss to West Brom on Saturday afternoon.

The Anglo-Nigerian striker was a non-playing substitute for U18 Premier League matches on four occasions, against Brighton & Hove, Birmingham City, Reading and Aston Villa, before the visit of the Baggies to Shenley Training Centre.

Davies was handed his first start against West Brom and was on the pitch for 62 minutes before making way for Green.

His unofficial debut for the age group came against Chelmsford City in a friendly and he scored his first Arsenal goal for the U18s in another pre-season game with Plymouth Argyle.

A tall, fast and skillful forward, Davies, who can play multiple roles in attack, made his competitive debut for the Gunners youth teams in a 2-1 win against West Ham United in the U18 Premier League Cup back in September.

The 17-year-old signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in December 2021.
