New Victor Osimhen card is now available in the FIFA 22 game
Published: March 31, 2022Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has been named March’s Serie A Player of the Month. Electronic Arts game developer marked this event by adding an upgraded 87-rated player card to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. You can get it until April 29th.
Gamers will have to shell out about 22,000 coins to collect the virtual football player. This amount is not so large in the game. The updated stats of the player look pretty impressive, and therefore he will be a good boost for any virtual team.
Earlier, Electronic Arts released a set with classic European club kits for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. Equipment sets are dedicated to the achievements of teams or iconic seasons. For example, the fans could remember Borussia Dortmund winning the Bundesliga in 1976 or the powerful line-up of PSG in the 1989/90 season.
As for the Nigerian football player himself, he shows outstanding results and helps his team to achieve success. Napoli is currently second in Serie A with 63 points, only three points behind Milan. Analysts of the best betting companies, the list of which is available on the Bookmaker Ratings website, are sure that the Neapolitans will be able to compete for the championship this season. They have a 25% chance of winning and are favourites along with AC Milan (43%) and Inter (37%).
Osimhen made a big contribution to Napoli's victories. This season, he has appeared on the field in 25 matches in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and four assists.
It is not surprising that the Neapolitans, impressed by the success of the Nigerian striker, decided to raise the amount of compensation for Victor. Now, according to Goal, the Azzurri are ready to sell the player only for 100 million euros.
Osimhen's contract with Napoli will run until the end of the 2024/25 season. Even though the expiration of the agreement is still far away, Azzuri may soon offer Victor a new contract with a salary increase.
In January, Newcastle tried to buy the forward for 70 million euros. It was for this amount that the Neapolitans themselves purchased Osimhen from the French Lille in 2020. Newcastle received a firm refusal, but the British do not intend to give up: they will try again to get the 23-year-old Nigerian into their squad during the summer transfer window.
Osimhen is the winner of the 2015 Youth World Cup as part of the Nigerian national team (U-17). Then he was recognized as the top bombardier of the tournament with a score of 10 goals. Since 2017, Viktor has been playing for the senior national team. Together with the Super Eagles, he won bronze at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The career of the young striker has just begun, and we are sure that he will be able to win many more individual and team trophies. In the meantime, Osimhen is one of the most promising Nigerian footballers.
