'Nice left foot' - Leicester City boss hails PSV's Nigeria-eligible winger ahead of UECL clash
Published: April 06, 2022PSV Eindhoven's Nigeria-eligible winger Nonso Madueke was lavished with praise by Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers ahead of Thursday's Europa Conference League quarterfinal clash at the King Power Stadium.
The England U21 international spent time at the Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur academies before he took the risk of moving abroad in 2018 to actualize his dream of playing first-team football.
Madueke has been in brilliant form since making his
professional debut for PSV, contributing eighteen goals and thirteen assists in 66
appearances in all competitions.
Rodgers has been left impressed with the winger's positive development in the Netherlands and highlighted his strengths as a player.

In quotes relayed by LeicestershireLive, Rodgers said : "He's done really well. Came through the system here, wanted to play first team football abroad, talented, physically very good, nice left foot, dynamic, can run behind.
"He plays with Luke in U21s."
Madueke could come up against Nigeria internationals Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman in tomorrow's first leg tie.
