Lookman scores first goal since February in Leicester City's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace
Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman was on the scoresheet for Leicester City on Sunday afternoon in a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium reports allnigeriasoccer.com.

Following the win, the Foxes are unbeaten in their last six Premier League matches against the Eagles, who thrashed Arsenal 3-0 before the trip to the King Power Stadium.

Lookman received a through pass from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from across the box. The former Fulham star then cut inside and unleashed a shot past Vicente Guaita to the bottom left corner.

The 39th minute strike was his seventh goal in all competitions so far in 2021-2022, but his first since February 20, 2022 when he netted in a 2-1 loss at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Dewsbury-Hall then made it 2-0 with his first goal in the league just before the half time break with a rasping shot into the left corner as he evaded the challenge of Cheikhou Kouyaté.

Wilfried Zaha halved the deficit in the 65th minute, nodding in the rebound to the frustration of a stranded Kasper Schmeichel who had saved his initial spot kick.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers made two changes with 14 minutes left on the clock, first bringing Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho to replace Zambian striker, Patson Daka.

Then Ademola Lookman left the game same minute for Harvey Barnes to take his place.

Leicester City continue to be without Wilfred Ndidi who has been ruled out of the season through injury.
