The Nigeria U20s posted their third consecutive clean sheet after beating the Republic of the Niger 1-0 in their final friendly game on Monday, May 2.
Before heading to Niamey, the capital of Niger, the Ladan Bosso-led side were held to a goalless draw by Real Sapphire, Lagos and in their next game it was another goalless affair against Niger.
Bosso has picked as many as five defenders on the books of Nigeria Professional Football League clubs on his finalized roster namely Abubakar Babaji (Niger Tornadoes), Lekan Oyedele (Remo Stars), Oluwatosin Adegbite (Enyimba FC), Augustine Njoku (Abia Warriors) and David Sholumade (Akwa United).
