'Tirana here we come' - UECL GOTW nominee Dessers reacts after helping Feyenoord reach final
Published: May 06, 2022Cyriel Dessers has taken to social media to celebrate Feyenoord reaching the Europa Conference League final.
Feyenoord held Marseille to a goalless draw at Stade de Marseille on Thursday night, securing a 3-2 aggregate victory over the French side.
Heading into the fixture against the Ligue 1 opponents, Dessers had either scored or assisted in eight consecutive matches in the competition, but could not add to his impressive tally of ten goals last night.
Excellent defending from William Saliba and Luan Peres kept the one-cap Nigeria international at bay over the course of ninety minutes.
Writing on Twitter, Dessers stated : "Tirana, here we come! What a night in Marseille, what a team, what a everything ffs".
