Lorient striker's market value drops a day after full Super Eagles debut

Lorient striker Terem Moffi's market value has dropped, a day after he was handed his full Super Eagles debut by Portuguese football tactician Jose Peseiro.

Moffi started and was in action for 73 minutes as an understrength Nigeria team were beaten 2-1 by Mexico in an international friendly at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

Transfermarkt currently values the striker at nine million euros following its latest update on Monday, May 30.

The Super Eagle was involved in 12 goals in 38 appearances over the course of the 2021-2022 campaign whereas he finished the 2020-2021season with 18 goal involvements in 34 outings for Lorient.

Despite his value falling by one million euros, Moffi remains the most valuable player at Lorient, ranks 12th and 120th when it comes to Nigerian and Ligue 1 players respectively.

Moffi's teammate at club and international level, Innocent Bonke has seen his market value soar from €1.5m to
€2m - a career high for the midfield enforcer.

Bonke has now totaled four appearances for the national team, with three of them starts, since making his debut in September 2021.
